What could be the advantages of AR tools?

Why is it important to consider new forms of spaces?

Living in a rapidly changing and evolving world, people's demands are also constantly being adjusted. As more technological advances are being made and the reliance on technology increases, it's important for new spaces to be produced to facilitate interaction and communication. These novel spaces can allow us to create work that leads people in and prompt unknown experiences.

WHAT IS THE RELEVANCE OF THESE SPACES TO OUR LIVES?

In a society where technology is heavily relied on, it's impossible to not encounter these digital spaces. They help us communicate with others, access information, use social media, etc and the electronic appliances around us all connect to those spaces. With physical objects, such as mobile devices and smart home assistants, our privacy could be intruded upon. Therefore, there are continuous findings on how to live in ways that adapt to this possible violation.

what relevance can these considerations have to your art work?

Due to the variety of instruments to aid artists, the possibilities are limitless. Different applications and tools can encourage the making of artwork that is more engaging and immersive for the viewers, and lets them interact with it. With things like apps being so accessible, an artwork could become a collage of the interactivity between the viewers and work by the artist.

WHAT NEW FORMS OF POETRY/ART ARE POSSIBLE?

My art focuses on the human body - externally and internally. As a result, I use the Internet regularly to gain accurate scientific information about the body. Creating a web page using a tool like hotglue can enable me to view relevant information completely at once. With an app like Halo AR, illustrations of the human body with distinctive narratives could potentially be produced.

The ability to manipulate the space in front of you permits endless possibilities. Many AR tools are applications free to download, therefore it can be easily done with a low or no cost. AR tools can completely immerse the user and produce a different experience.

Art no longer remains static and becomes an active, moving encounter with sensory and auditory sensations.
